MODELING - COLUMNS

One of the main things I tackled for this assignment was creating the columns of the scene by designing a Houdini Digital Asset. Because we wanted to have cubes fit on a ring but did not know the proper dimensions for them, it was tedious when prototyping. I set up a node network to create a cube and copy them along the points of a circle NURBS curve, and then would duplicate this ring up multiple points of a vertical line for the height.

Modeling - Walls and Bell

At the time of modeling the bell, we had not settled on a camera angle to capture the room with. I modeled most the the detail of the wooden bar that holds the bell, as well as the top of the bell, before creating the base shape. For the walls, I focused on creating the molding when modeling the walls.

COMP

I was responsible for taking the rendered images and creating the movie file in Adobe After Effects. I also comped in the live action plate that Amanda edited to fit in perfectly around the render.
